Have Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior experience to participate in the five day pottery class?
It is not needed to have any experience in any way! The 5 day workshop in pottery in the Creative hands pottery studio welcomes novices and experienced potters alike. The program is designed to provide genuine challenges and learning at all levels.
What should I wear, or take with me?
You aren’t afraid of getting soiled, because clay is messy and gets everywhere! Aprons are provided; however, comfortable clothes are recommended. Tools, clay, and other materials are part of the cost of your workshop.
Can I take my possessions back to my home?
Yes! All firings are part of the full experience package. The items are bisqued and fired during the week (where feasible) or soon after, and you’re welcome to pick them up within 2 weeks after the event. The Essentials package includes bisque and glaze firing. It is available on its own.
How many students attend every workshop?
Our 5 day pottery classes are limited to 12 people per session. A small group size means everyone gets individual time with their instructor and has plenty of room and access to the wheel all week long.
