The preparation of the Terracotta Clay

The process begins with the preparation of the clay. The clay is kneaded correctly to eliminate air bubbles, to make it a smooth shape.

The Centering of the Clay

The wheel begins spinning, and then the clay is placed in a centered position using the hands. This is among the crucial steps of wheel throwing, since it allows you to produce even and smooth forms.

The Clay: Opening the Clay

After centering, gentle pressure is applied to the centre of the clay to make an opening. The opening then serves as the basis for the object.

Shaping and pulling the clay
