Creative Bonding
In contrast to a traditional dinner out or a movie, the pottery wheel lets you engage in a fun and playful way, as well as create with others. Every inhale, twist, or spin of the wheel creates a lasting moment.
All Ages Welcome
From toddlers through grandparents, all ages are welcome. The instructors will provide guidance for ages appropriate for the participant. No prior knowledge is required, just passion!
Hands On Fun
You can feel the clay with your hands, then shape the clay into a bowl, ceramic figurine, or mug, and watch your designs become reality. Children love playing with clay while adults enjoy having the opportunity to relax and connect.
What to Expect at a Family Pottery Event
We have carefully designed our events to be safe, enjoyable, and inspiring.
- Guided Session with experienced instructors
- Introduction on clay Techniques (hand-building or slab work, or pottery made on a wheel!)
- All materials provided, including tools, clay for aprons, paint, and tools
- Decorating and Bisque Painting: Add the right amount of color and character to your creations
- Kiln Fire – we’ll start firing your final creations and notify us know that they’re available for pickup
Every Session usually runs between 1.5 to two hours. It concludes with smiles, an admirable artwork, and plenty of stories to recount.
Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Creative Hands Pottery Studio. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for attending our Family Pottery Event. By booking a workshop on our studio, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:
- Bookings for pottery workshops can be made by phone, by visiting our office directly, or through our website.
- Workshops are open to participants aged 4 and above unless otherwise specified.
- Clay Allocation: Each participant will receive approximately 600 grams of clay. Additional clay can be purchased separately if required.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes before the workshop begins to ensure a smooth start.
- All materials and tools required for the workshop will be provided by Creative Hands Pottery Studio.
- The session will last 1.5 hours. Bisque painting must be done within 10 to 15 days. After the bisque painting is completed, the final product will be ready for collection after 15 to 20 days.
- Pottery items go through a high-temperature firing process, and there is always a natural risk of breakage, cracks, or imperfections. Creative Hands will not be held responsible for any damage, breakage, or defects that occur during the firing process, as this is a normal part of pottery production.
- Finished pottery pieces can be collected at the studio.
- Cancellations made 48 hours before the workshop: A full refund will be provided.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop are not eligible for a refund, but a one-time reschedule may be arranged.
- No-show: If you do not attend the workshop without prior notice, no refund will be granted.
- If Creative Hands Pottery Studio cancels a workshop, a refund will be provided after deducting any bank or transaction fees, or a rescheduling option will be offered.
- If the cancellation is done by our part, a full refund is provided, but if it is cancelled by you, the refund will be issued after deducting any bank or transaction fees.
- Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the workshop.
