Create a fun and unique birthday celebration with your guests at Creative Hands Pottery Studio The cost is 1.5 hours of clay activities and 30 minutes of celebration with your family and friends!
The booking link will reserve an at least 12 adult guests. If the number of guests you have exceeds this amount, our team will be in touch to accommodate additional guests.
Description
All of our clay types are suitable for handbuilding workshops and wheel, therefore, you can pick any clay type!
In our workshop we will teach you how to create and shape with clay. The process of hands-on is similar for both types however the manner in which the finished piece will depend on the type of clay you select.
Air-Dry Clay
- No kiln is required – take your creation with you the next day
- Ideal for decorative, simple pieces
- Paint it at home later with the acrylic set
- Your work will be meticulously packaged and handed to you at the conclusion of the workshop.
- Perfect for those who want an easy, enjoyable and exciting experience
Terracotta Clay
- Natural reddish clay, kiln fired and coated
- Great for practical items such as plates, cups and bowls
- Food-safe with a durable, long-lasting finish
- We glaze and then fire your artwork. No need to come back to paint
- The vehicle is ready to be picked up in a couple of weeks
Ceramic Clay
- This clay is fired to create a piece that is strong and long-lasting.
- Ideal for everyday items such as plates, cups and bowls
- Includes glaze firing and bisque firing to create a shiny food-safe finish
- The piece you leave to us and we’ll inform you when it’s time to pick it up (about 4 to 5 weeks)
- Ideal for those who desire a an elegant, professional look!

Terms and Conditions
- Clay Supply Participants will receive the equivalent of 600 grams clay in the workshop cost. This will be enough for the creation of small- to medium-sized pottery pieces.
- Additional Clay and other items that are required over 600 grams of the first batch will be charged at the current studio rates. The preparation of additional items costs per item, which includes tools, clay and firing.
- Duration of Workshops Each workshop runs for 1.5 hours. Participants are advised to arrive early to maximize the session.
- The cancellation policy is in effect once the payment is made and we have received it, we cannot give refunds.For one-off workshops you can reschedule the workshop dependent on the availability of slots. Alternately, you can ask for a credit card from the studio. This voucher is valid for a period of 6 months. It can be used to pay for any future reservation.For group bookings or events Once the payment has been completed, the booking is considered to be confirmed and block. There will be no refunds. Rescheduling is depending on availability and has to be coordinated prior to the time.
- Rescheduling Workshop participants can be able to request a rescheduling of the workshop with at minimum 7 days of notice. The scheduling of rescheduling is dependent on the availability, based on Studio’s calendar.For changes that are short-notice (less that 7 calendar days) be aware that rescheduling can’t be guarantee but is possible dependent on the availability of slots or through the issue of a six-month credit voucher.
- Specific Design Requests: If participants have particular designs they want to design that require more advanced techniques, a different day must be planned. All of our workshops are specifically designed to beginners and teaching advanced techniques requires a lot of attention and time, which makes it difficult to integrate into our regular sessions.
- Acceptance of Terms by registration for the workshop participants acknowledge they have accepted and read the terms of these conditions and guidelines.
